  • Does this take the place of my existing door?

    No, this door is an added accessory to further secure your existing pet door opening.

  • What pet door manufactures does this current cover fit over?

    The large size pet door fits over Petsafe, Ideal “Original, Patio Pacific Enduraflap, and MaxSea.

  • Can the door be installed on the inside?

    Yes, while we recommend the door to be installed on the outside of a wall application, you can install the door with special hardware for a door application as well. This product is not useable for sliding glass door installation.

  • Is the surface paint-able?

    Yes, the surface is paint-able, however a special UV powder coat finish has already been applied to the door which resists scratches, rust and climate related elements.

  • Can my pet enter and exit with it closed?

    No, once the door is closed and locked it must be manually opened and closed.
